Compared with conventional automobiles, forestry vehicle is a different design, mainly because forestry vehicle has to meet higher requirements of long-distance travelling and trafficability due to the inconvenient traffic in remote operation areas, harsh road conditions, and lack of mature roads and supporting fueling facilities. In addition, due to the great impact on the vehicle structure during timber transportation, the installations, chassis and carriage of forestry vehicle can be seriously worn. In order to meet the operational conditions, XCMG specially designs the installations of dumper, including enlarged and thickened carriage and frame steel plates, configuration of aluminum fuel tank, strengthened chassis spring and other suspensions, installation of off-road tires, enlarged water tank, addition of hub spray function and rear protective structure of the cab and prevent the onboard timber’s impact on the cab and protect the driver during vehicle slowdown or brake applying.
